Research interests

My name is Patrícia! I am an MSc student in Marine Biology and Conservation. For my master’s thesis, I am examining shifts in coral reef fish communities following mass bleaching events. I am particularly fascinated by how structural habitat loss drives changes in species composition and fish behaviour, with the broader goal of contributing data-driven insights to marine conservation and ecosystem management. Outside of my studies, I am also a PADI Divemaster with a passion for scuba diving and snorkelling.
