Research interests

I’m a Marine Sciences Master’s student at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL).
I am particularly interested in ecology and in understanding how organisms interact with each other and their environment, and how these interactions shape communities and ecosystems.
For my master’s thesis, I will be investigating whether reef geometry affects the shape in which corals grow. To do this, I will use 3D models of coral colonies and analyse different morphological traits to explore how coral growth may be influenced by the complexity and structure of the surrounding reef.
